We just finished our 2 nights in Santa Fe, New Mexico at Santa Fe Skies RV Park!!

It was a little confusing how to actually get to our site since both the road and the camp spots were the same gravel. So, we ended up taking a bit of a wrong turn and having to make this crazy sharp turn to turn around. Jason did a great job being able to jack knife the truck to make the turn work for us. I was super impressed! I guess watching all those videos on driving tips paid off!
Our campsite also had some wildlife to watch. There were a ton of these bunnies running around, which the cats LOVED to watch.

We had a ton of fun in our spot, like playing one of the "lawn" games that we brought with us. This is ladder toss, which Jason and I have never played before. It turns out that I am pretty good at it. At least better than Jason! I won all 3 games we played.
We did take a short drive into downtown Santa Fe to check it out. We didn't get to see much because we were limited in our time (Jason has a big project deadline he is working on), but we did get to see San Miguel Mission. It is the oldest church in the United States and when we were there, they were actually holding a Mass, which was cool to peek in a see (although we didn't stay).
We also learned that downtown Santa Fe is not very big truck friendly. AND going to a whole foods in a huge diesel truck is a serious pain - not to mention I was a little afraid that we were going to get spray painted or keyed for having such an environment unfriendly truck (although we have the new fancy government mandated DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) and use DEF fluid to keep our exhaust cleaner).
All in all, it was a great experience for us on the first nights of our vacation. The cats did very well and were very happy there. Hopefully that is a sign that things will go well for them on this trip?
You guys do know how to travel in style :-) I'm glad for you.
